The Ballad of Blood & War: The Origin of Skartorian Mythology

Originally announced in late 2024, The Ballad of Blood & War is a universe set inside the spheres of science-fiction and epic fantasy storytelling as it focuses on the planet of Skartor, home to the Skartorian race and its principle protagonist Hauk, the Skartorian God of War. However, this reveal was set to appear in an earlier title years prior.
The original plans for Hauk and Skartor was for the character and the world to make their debut in Dynasty Wars, the finale to the Dark Titan Universe Saga series. Originally in earlier drafts, Hauk and Skartor would make their presence known during a pivotal portion of the story, debuting him and his world as part of the Dark Titan Universe IP. With a new draft written, the decision was made to remove Hauk, Skartor, and all the references. Instead the decision was made to have Skartor become its own IP, already set with a vast roster of characters ranging from gods, goddesses, monsters, aliens, and suchlike.
Today, The Ballad of Blood & War is in the early stages of new projects following Hauk, Skar, Darkraven, The Carnage Trio, and others throughout the planet of Skartor and the universe they dwell within.
Until then, the characters and world of Skartor will make their official debut in Dark Titan Books’ Dauntless Realities: Heroic Fantasy and Science-Fiction Adventures. A special included novelette written back in Summer 2011 will be featured as a bonus story within the fantasy omnibus. Presenting the characters and world of Skartor to fantasy and science-fiction readers.
As of now, silence befalls… as the Skartorians prepare for war.
