The Conquest of a Planet: Revisiting the War for Sinstor
During the year 680 BoC (Battle of Caelum), the primary conflict throughout the Stellarspace was the War for Helio. A constant battle for planetary conquest in the goal of gaining resources and position within the Stellarspace. The Knights of the Covenant fought to their greatest might in order to protect and preserve their planet from the outside forces. Two of those adversaries were the Viper Order from Moraltis and the Sinistorian Legion from the planet Sinstor. However, through this major event, there was another ongoing, somewhat of a smaller scale. It was the growing might of Nasir-Ah and his conquest throughout the Stellarspace. All while the nations clamored for control over Helio, Nasir-Ah conquered planets one by one, placing them into his galactic army. Reigning from the planet of Assracyia, Nasir-Ah sought it out to claim the entire Stellarspace for the sole purpose of his planet’s beliefs and spirituality. The notion of position within the nations’ sight proved an even greater reason for his actions. After conquering other planets within his sector such as Hadnah and Anatolia, Nasir sought out his next conquest: Sinstor.
Making his arrival in Sinstor came to the surprise of the Sinstorians, preferably their leader, Pharao Sebek-Em-Of. The Sinstorians previously had foreigners several years past when Rayen Grake, a Knight of the Covenant came to Sinstor searching for his newfound wife, Lady Iyera (Story Title: Rayen and The Search for Lady Iyera). Now, after a few years being involved with the War for Helio, Sinstor found itself on the other side of an invasion. Now, Nasir’s Ayyubid Dynasty made their arrival. Both on land and in the skies. The battle was shor- lived as Sebek’s forces were defeated and Nasir offered the Pharao a chance at live. Instead, Sebek’s heart was too hard and Nasir commanded his men to slay the Sinstorian King, yet only to spare his son, Amran-Em-Of. Now, the planet Sinstor was folded into Nasir’s Dynasty and Nasir became the first Sultan of the ancient magical planet.
On the other end of the Stellarspace, another war was brewing, yet within. The Herenian Empire led by Queen Herena and her daughter, Princess Savan-Nah led the charge to aid the Knights of the Covenant into protecting their planet, however in the distant city of Magnesia, Queen Livia sought fit to find a planet herself to take possession. Unlike Queen Herena, Livia was a wild queen. A queen who sought blood and death as if her life depended on it. Seeing the planet Helio already overwhelmed with other nations, she sought another planet, one with the history and the prestige of Helio. She saw Sinstor. Five years after Nasir claimed the planet for his Dynasty, Queen Livia arrived. Her and her army made their first attack on the small city of Gubla. Terrifying the people, the army hazed through the city as their star horses flew over, casting great shouts and echoes of gallops, resembling thunder. Queen Livia captured several of the people and sent them to Misriayim to inform Nasir-Ah of her arrival and to meet her within the small city. The people fled and informed their Sultan of the distress. Within mere hours, Nasir and his forces made their arrival in Gubla, seeing Livia and her army waiting. A savage bunch Nasir thought to himself. Upon their meeting, Livia informed Nasir of her purpose: to take possession of Sinstor and to rule it under her own desires. Proclaiming her homeworld of Ellada does not want her anymore, to Nasir’s unconcerned manner, he professes Livia to leave Sinstor before more damage is done to which Livia refuses, seeing to bully the Sultan to give up the planet. Instead, Nasir gives a fair warning to Livia before leaving the city. While gone, Livia and her army remained in Gubla as she made the people of the city her servants. during the night however, Nasir’s spies entered the city, evacuating the residents for three days, as Nasir gave Livia three days to leave or there would be consequences.
The three days were done and Livia noticed the people were gone. within an instant, her star horses were shot down from the sky by arrows and the rushing arrival of Nasir’s forces came forth. Priests of Sinstor came forth and began summoning the chief Sinstorian god, Xanthou for his aid in their battle. Livia, seeing this, brought forth her own priests as they began reciting the words of the gods of Oros. The battle had turned into a war between a king and queen into a war of the gods. Through the mystical warfare, Nasir’s forces defeated Livia’s army. Killing them all except for Livia herself as Nasir proclaimed, “A King does not kill a Queen.” Nasir gave Livia safe passage to leave Sinstor as he and his army buried the fallen on both sides. Livia left the city of Gubla, but made her arrival in the capital city of Misriayim.
Days later, Livia arrived in Misriayim and sought to take claim of the planet by her own hands. Seeing the young prince, Amran with Nasir, Livia made the move to persuade Amran to align with her motives and to overthrow Nasir, yet such actions did not happen. Nasir allowed Amran to battle Livia in a duel with the young prince being the victor. Livia was killed by Amran’s aduroblade axe/staff hybrid weapon, impressing Nasir greatly.
months later, the War of Helio intensified as Nasir and his forces had not other option but to intervene. Choosing the leave the planet, he made Amran its new Pharao. Setting the motion for future events to unfold. A new Kingdom of Sinstor was born.
