He attacks Kent, triggering his transformation into the Beast. The Beast ransacks the base, beating down Absorption and the soldiers. Bohr watches on and injects the blood into himself after mixing the blood with several chemicals. Bohr collapsed as the Beast made his exit. Sometime later, Bohr arose with a drastic change. His intellect was increased by the blood as well as discovering enhanced strength and telekinesis. The Beast reverted back to Kent as he went into hiding once more while Bohr left the base and to take a walk, choosing to make everyone in the world a servant to his newfound power. He takes up the moniker of The Ruler.
The Resistance: The Stroh Dynasty: The second of The Resistance saga. The Resistance unite to take down a hidden base. The Beast returned, standing alongside them. Afterwards, Nathan holds a party for their victories, however Kenari is not present as he discovers something peculiar making its way into the earth. The following day, a large interstellar ship made its appearance over the city of Newark, gaining the attention of The Resistance. Reuniting, they watch as a figure emerges from the ship. Calling himself King Stroh the Conqueror, he has arrived to take over the earth without violence, unless tempted. They attack Stroh, only for him to take over the minds of Taltus and the Beast, causing the two heroes to clash with one another. Stroh unleashed an army of bio-organic droids to attack the heroes while Swordman and Nano Man infiltrated the ship. Stroh finds them, entering a battle with them and nearly defeating them, until Swordman takes down Stroh’s power grid. The droids fall dead as Stroh warns them of certain scenarios in the future. Many of them begin to boggle the minds of Swordman and Nano Man. Stroh leaves Earth as the two heroes sit among themselves, speaking of the futures while Nathan unveils a secret project called “Octagon”.
The Protectors: The Founding: The first story of The Protectors. Sinister Judge takes over the mind of the Beast, bringing the creature to Washington D.C. to cause devastation. With The Resistance busy, Doctor Fortune, Voltage, and Kular arrive and combat the Beast. Day of Octagon: A Dark Titan Universe Event: The first major event of the Dark Titan Universe. The Resistance are brought together by Evan Nader to stop the Desert Vipers and Abin-Qa. Once they were defeated, Hawke tells the team of Project Octagon, stating they no longer need to come together to face enemies. Octagon will do it for them. In the same day, Kenari and Nathan talk about the project, stating it may not go as Hawke plans. However, Nathan has faith in the project. Meanwhile in Eragard, Theus meets with Vindhler, the Guardian who warns him of a great trouble on earth. Theus takes the news and travels back to Earth. The next day, a presentation is held at the Hawke Industries headquarters as Nathan unveils Octagon to the public. Unaware, the A.I. takes over itself and Octagon is now a living entity who attacks those at the presentation, taking over several Nano Man exo-suits before making its escape. Afterwards, the heroes head out to find Octagon while Octagon arrives at Base 33 prison, wearing Nano Man armor, fooling the doctors as it attacks them and frees two prisoners, Rapidshine and Violetress. The heroes continue their search and eventually track Octagon’s energy near the Citadel of Enchantment. There, Doctor Fortune, Huang, and Tom Bradley are ambushed by Octagon, Rapidshine, and Violetress. The Resistance arrives along with Voltage and Kular. Octagon’s body is similar to Nano Man’s armor, yet sleeker and taller. Octagon, Rapidshine, and Violetress leave as the Resistance and Protectors argue with each other, particularly Swordman and Fortune. Later, Octagon takes over a church and calls out Nano Man to confront him. Nano Man arrives at the church with Swordman and Fortune as they make the fight 3-against-3 with Nano Man vs. Octagon, Swordman vs. Violetress, and Fortune vs. Rapidshine. Meanwhile, droids created by Octagon attack New York, giving way for Taltus, Theus, Beast, Voltage, and Kular to face them. Once the fight was over and Violetress and Rapidshine were taken in, Nathan suggested they bring out the contingency, yet, he needed the mineral, quakerium to finish it. Swordman knew where to acquire some as he, Fortune, and Norland headed out to the Kingdom of Mekopia to meet with Rashad Tabari, known as the Black Viscount and an ally to the Creed of Swords. Tabari hears their proposal and accepts, only due to his allegiance to The Swordman. They return to the T.I.T.A.N. headquarters with Nathan using the mineral to finish the work on the contingency, which was another entity named the Nonagon. Nathan stated quakerium is a proper fit as Octagon’s new body was made of solidium, a mineral only found in the Avago Land. Nonagon’s intellect surpasses him as he proves himself stronger than Taltus and Theus. He agrees to aid them in taking out his predecessor and protecting the innocent. Octagon sends out a message to them, challenging them to a battle in Newark. They agree and head out. Upon their arrival, the heroes bring in reinforcement such as Norland’s Champions, Q-Arrow, and Silver Eagle. They took the fight to Octagon as his strength was increased due to the solidium. Nonagon went toward Octagon as the combined might of the heroes proved too much for the walking A.I. Nonagon destroys Octagon’s body as the A.I. withers away. Days later, the heroes all go their separate ways. Violetress and Rapidshine are taken to a facility only referred to as “Hellgate”. Kenari and Nathan talk once more about Octagon and the consequences it had. One thing they realize is Octagon was in fact one of the futures spoken to them by King Stroh. It was at that moment, they knew Stroh’s words to be fact and the futures were not yet over.
The next chapter of this series will set focus toward Crossbreed, the following title of the Dark Titan Universe Saga series detailing the Yonderers-Unkinds War.
