20 BoC

20 Years During The Battle of Caelum

It was in the year 20 BoC when the Kuwardians invaded the planet of Sidhu during the reign of King Kahnu and Queen Sachin. The Kuwardians were from the House of Medraut, led by Kord Medraut. The invasion came out of nowhere, startling all who were present in the city of Jaipur on a late evening. Due to the ongoing crisis from the Zorth Wars, King Kahnu was preoccupied with political affairs pertaining to the war. The Kuwardians came quickly and attacked Jaipur from the air and the ground. King Kahnu sent out his forces to combat the Kuwardians. Although, the Sidhuian warriors were fierce in battle, their might in weaponry was unable to overcome the technology of the Kuwardians. They were equipped with wrist missiles, automatic energy ranges, and highly armored suits.

Kord bolted into the Jaipur Palace and faced King Kahnu head-on. Sujata and Anuja, the daughters of Kahnu entered as they were evacuating to see their father taken captive by Kord with the Kuwardians. Sujata and Anuja fled from the palace with their mother who went into shock from the siege. Days later, Kord held a execution event on the palace steps for all the Kuwardians to witness. They captured Kahnu, Alvars, and several Sidhuian warriors who did not die in battle. The first soldier went up as Kord stood before him, boasting in himself and his work.

“You can survive this.” Kord said. “Only if you take the Kuwardian way in favor of your gods.”

“May Shiva decimate you and your kind.” The soldier said quietly.

“I see.”

Kord commanded his soldiers to hold the soldier down and without hesitation, they decapitated him. Sujata appeared from the bushes near the front of the palace, seeing the line of Sidhuians before the Kord. More soldiers were decapitated for their faith. Then, the Alvars were next and their boldness in their faith was unmatched. No fear was shown on their faces and Kord was impressed.

“You truly serve your gods well. For the sake of your people and your planet, I suggest you forsake your way of life and adopt our ways.”

“Your kind have no ways.” One Alvar said. “You only seek to pillage and destroy.”

“My friend, that is our way. It is simple.”

Kord commanded all the Alvars were executed and they were. Leaving King Kahnu last. He stood his ground, looking into the eyes of Kord.

“Surrender your place as King, forsake your dharma of the Hephidu, and adopt our ways. Become a Kuwardian of the House of Medraut and you can conquer many worlds alongside us.”

“Why are you giving me such an offer?”

“Because you proved yourself a capable warrior. Only warriors of such skill can truly fit in to the Kuwardian path. You’ll easily fit with us in this universe.”

“I will never forsake my beliefs. My duty to this planet. If we cannot have our own freedom, then we die fighting.”

Kord stepped back. “I understand. But, before you meet your gods, you are a descendant of Jahnu of Sidhu, aren’t you?”

“I am.”

“Then, if you were to die, you would have no heir to the throne.”

“I have two daughters. They are capable of ruling well in my stead.”

“Daughters? See, that is the difference between your people and mine. Kuwardians only allow the man who’s proven himself to rule. The women have their ruler ships as well. But, you have no son. Therefore, how can your daughters defeat me when I take this planet from your hands.”

“You will find out. Be certain of that.”

“I will be.”

Kord pulled out his blade and impaled Kahnu in the heart. Sujata jumped from the trees as her father fell to the ground. She cried, gaining the attention of the Kuwardians standing by. Kord turned back to see her running.

“Stop her!” Kord yelled as the soldiers ran for her.

After the chase, the soldiers were unable to find the young princess as she, her sister, and mother fled Jaipur for the small city of Nagar. There, they remained for two years as Kord and the Kuwardians took over the rest of the planet without fail. The remaining Sidhuian survivors proclaimed these ongoing events as the Kuward Raj. Within the two years of hiding, Sujata’s mother had died. They buried her near the Vandanai Forest. Sujata’s sightings increased slightly afterwards, with Sidhuians calling her their queen, asking for retribution against the Kuwardians. Sujata felt she was too young for the crown, but felt a great need to help her people. She couldn’t do so without an army of her. Several months had gone by and Sujata trained herself in combat. Anuja also trained along with a few of the Sidhuian people. It wasn’t long before Karan, a renown warrior of Sidhu discovered Sujata was still alive and went to find her.

Karan entered Nagar and was granted an audience with Sujata. She was astounded Karan had survived the current Kuwardian rule. Karan stated he had been hiding in the far reaches of Sidhu, a place where the Kuwardians were just reaching towards after a year. Sujata told Karan she desired to take Sidhu back for the people, Karan agreed with her completely and they began preparing a plan to take the fight to Kord and the Kuwardians. Sujata had hoped the fellow ally nations of Sidhu would come to their aid, but with the ongoing Zorth Wars, their attention was drawn away.

Within those two years, the Knights of the Covenant fell to the hands of the Viper Order, renamed the Viper Realm under the rule of Empress Helvetica and Sinth Viper. The sectors were shifting, and the Viper Realm was becoming the supreme superpower of the universe. All nations were on notice. Karan knew they had to do it on their own. Sujata agreed and after the second year, Sujata was prepared. She mediated quietly in the Vandanai Forest. When the time had come, Sujata led her army with Karan in the forefront into the city of Jaipur, where they took the battle to the Kuwardians. Sujata herself was also involved in the battle, wielding the ancient sword of Jahnu. Eventually, the army of Sujata overcame the Kuwardians with many of them fleeing the planet rather than dying. Kord remained and faced Karan head-on in a duel. Karan bested the Kuwardian leader, bringing him to Sujata who was standing in the throne room, staring at the seat.

“Do what you will.” Kord told Sujata. “You have bested my people and myself.”

Sujata stepped forward the Kord and decapitated him with the sword of Jahnu. The city was cleansed of the Kuwardian remains and several months later, word spread across the sectors of the end of the Kuward Raj and the formation of the Sujatian Queendom. Karan stood as Sujata’s right-hand man. After word had spread, Sujata had her first official business as queen: a meeting with Sinth Viper.
