History of the Dark Titan Universe Saga: Part 8: The Oranos Imperative

Welcome to Part 8 of “History of the Dark Titan Universe Saga”. A series of articles based on the Dark Titan Universe Saga.

Giving new readers who don’t mind SPOILERS and those whom have already read something pertaining to the series a look at what’s happened from the start. Continuing the series with The Oranos Imperative: Book 7 of the Dark Titan Universe Saga.

 
 

The Oranos Imperative is focused on the primary heroes within the Dark Titan Universe. Returning to the adventures of The Resistance with The Swordman, Taltus, Nano Man, Commander Norland, The Beast, and Theus. As well as appearances from other Scattered heroes and spiritual entities.

The Oranos Imperative features seven stories:

  • Hallow Sword: Time for Chance: The third of the Hallow Sword saga. Harold Hunt, a known politician arrives in Retropolis, seeking to help the city grow and become better. Along the way, Kenari Clark looks into Hunt's true intentions for the city as he takes down the criminal Cartavious Cage before being confronted by a group of men calling themselves, The Attorneys, led by the leader called The Mad Lawyer. The following day, Hunt is kidnapped by Lawyer and his Attorneys, bringing a chase from The Swordman to retrieve him, only to be attacked by a villain called Clawmaster. After defeating Clawmaster, Swordman finds Hunt and frees him from the Mad Lawyer's grasp, placing the Lawyer into Pegasus Prison. With this victory, Hunt begins to see The Swordman as a true ally of the city and not an enemy.

  • Chosen Son: You've Crossed The Line: The third of the Chosen Son saga. Taltus is summoned to Enigma City after seeing the city attacked by a volcanic-infused figure. The two battle, with each one as powerful as the other. Taltus eventually wins the battle and notices several figures standing by. Sensing their power, he goes to approach them, but they vanish. Upon searching for them, Taltus visits Stephanie Vale for help in finding the figures. Stephanie searches through many files, mostly military with Evan Nader’s help to discover them. She gives Taltus the details and he heads off the uncover them. Taltus eventually finds the figures, calling themselves the Noble Force. A band of powerful misfits. Their leader, Aristocratic Dusk sought to change the methods of being a hero. Taltus pointed them toward the route of justice, whereas Dusk only desired vengeance. On a mission against terrorists smuggling weaponry in Blackpool, Taltus witnessed the Noble Force killing both criminals and innocents. Taltus confronted the Force before they made the decision to ambush him, leading to an all-out battle. Dusk’s theory in total was to determine if Taltus was truly good or if the Noble Force are the new standard of good. With a good fight, Taltus defeated the Noble Force and realized he’s become an aspiration of hope for all of humanity. Now understanding his purpose in the world, Taltus returns to his Fortress, where The Swordman waited.

  • The Nano Man: Biotech Warfare: The third of The Nano Man saga. Nathan Hawke is met by Giovanni Marko, a scientist who’s at the level of Nathan’s. Giovanni proposes Nathan should switch from nanotech to biotech. Nathan disagrees. Later during the night, Giovanni works in his shop, unveiling an armored suit similar to Nano Man with the same functions, only replacing the nanotech for biotech. During a test run, Ricky and Nathan fly their exosuits to test possible space flight. While testing, they are ambushed by Marko’s suit, proclaiming itself to be the Bio Man. Bio Man defeats both Nano Man and Silver Eagle with ease. Nathan and Alice discover it’s Giovanni inside the Bio Man armor. He confronts him alongside Ricky, only for a battle to commence between them. Nano Man and Silver Eagle defeat Bio Man. Later, Jon Cramer meets with Giovanni about a proposition between him and several others as the plan is about to commence. Giovanni agrees to assist in the plan. Afterwards, Nathan is contacted by Kenari concerning a strange disturbance heading toward the earth.

  • Commander Norland: Turn of the Trade: The third of Commander Norland saga. Commander Norland and the Champions reach a hidden base in Siberia which is used by ADDER. While inside, Norland and his team are confronted by a strange individual known as Count Blood. More ADDER droids attack as Blood escapes. Norland returns to the T.I.T.A.N. headquarters and learns more about Count Blood. Elsewhere, Iron Crane and Madame Cobra meet with Nicholas Jovano and Royal Ghost. Norland speaks with Nader and Siren concerning Count Blood. Nader informs them that Blood is only a partner to the boss, known as the Royal Ghost. Professor Flm speaks to Norland concerning his previous team-ups with the other heroes. After a trace, Mariah Cooper discovers ADDER has set up a base in the mountain regions of the arctic. While entering the cold cavern, Commander Norland and Steve Nixon are left alone to face the mystique of Jovano. Meanwhile, Lady Siren and Colonel Nader search for the Royal Ghost. Jovano tosses Nixon off the ledge after the battle before his defeat by Norland. Norland and his team collide with Royal Ghost, Iron Crane, and Count Blood in the deep mountain base. Afterwards, a memorial is held for Steve Nixon.

  • The Unstoppable Beast: The Hidden Jungle: The third of The Unstoppable Beast saga. The U.S. Military arrives in the Amazon after a secret deal is struck. Lawler’s intent in the forest is to find the lair of the legendary Amazon Jaguar, a creature with the same size and strength as The Beast. Lawler intends on finding the creature and using it as a force for warfare. Also, Kent Brock arrives in the Amazon, looking to see what Lawler is planning. During the night, Kent sneaks into the military base and finds the files on Lawler’s desk pertaining to the Jaguar. As he leaves, several soldiers notice him and begin firing into the trees. Lawler enraged, slams the tablet on the ground, smashing it. While doing so, the soldiers are attacked by a large figure, although it is not the Beast. It is the Jaguar itself. The military faces the Jaguar while Lawler watches in awe. Brock tries to flee, but is caught by several soldiers who attack him, triggering the pain, Brock transforms into The Beast and chases the soldiers back to the base, where he and the Jaguar stare down. The Beast faces the Amazon Jaguar in the midst of the U.S. Military. After the Jaguar is defeated, a pair of tribesmen come out of the forest, attacking the remaining soldiers. The Beast flees the rain-forest with Lawler stating he will find him again as they escape the tribes and the creature.

  • The Resistance/Protectors War: The first confrontation between The Resistance and The Protectors came into being when The Resistance teamed up to face the Shadow Executioner, who made an appearance onto Kenari’s doorstep. While battling, Fortune arrives with Voltage, and Kular. Together, they defeat the Executioner. Swordman questions how a spirit such as Executioner could step foot on his land. The same goes to Fortune, seeing there’s something wrong. The Swordman and Doctor Fortune continue their debate on who’s responsible for Shadow Executioner’s attack, which leads to Swordman‘s hatred of magic and Fortune‘s dislike of religions. Both The Resistance and The Protectors are on opposite sides. Fortune approves magic and Swordman does not. Kent Brock has no interest in arguing as the Beast within sides with Fortune. The battle ensues with the teams, leading to a division. The Beast comes out and attacks the Resistance and sides with the Protectors. Afterwards, Hawke tells Kenari he already had a contingency if the Beast ever turned against them. In the Nano-Bunker, Hawke unveils the Beasthunter armor. Also, Hawke grants Norland with elemental gauntlets which can concentrate his powers. The Resistance track down The Protectors at the Citadel of Enchantment. The Swordman battles Fortune, Norland battles Voltage, Theus battles Kular, and Nano Man and Taltus battle the Beast. After both teams annihilate each other, Noldar and Celd appear before them, revealing they’re responsible for Executioner’s arrival and the sudden hatred imbued between Swordman and Fortune. Swordman breaks free from the hold, stating they must all come together and stop Noldar and Celd. The Resistance and Protectors unite to face Noldar and Celd. Afterwards, The Beast proclaims himself a full member of the Protectors, leaving the Resistance with only five members.

  • The Resistance: The Oranos Imperative: The third of the The Resistance saga and the third event of the Dark Titan Universe Saga. The Resistance unite to take out The Outband. Taltus informed the team of the Outband’s previous workings he came into contact with some time ago. The Swordman takes out Marcus “Beast” Bontade as Theus deals with Mane. Taltus takes Bontade and the Outband to the authorities. Later, Kenari tells Nathan about the disturbance coming from the earth, stating it’s not the same as with King Stroh. Taltus overhears their conversation and tell them what it is. It’s the coming of Oranos. Thrudhawk arrives in Newark, leading to an altercation with Nano Man, who was his arrival from the Hawke Industries headquarters. News spreads out to the others and Taltus arrives to aid Nano Man against him. The two remember each other as Taltus and Nano Man overpower Thrudhawk. Suddenly, Domonix arrives to face the heroes. Now, it’s Taltus and Nano Man against Thrudhawk and Domonix. The Resistance is brought together to face the combined power of Thrudhawk, Domonix, and the Ophfiends. The Protectors arrive to assist The Resistance alongside Bionic Rage, Q-Arrow, John Terror, and Nonagon. While they battle, Oranos arrives and defeats The Resistance with ease before returning to Blachole. Taltus, now enraged follows Oranos through the portal as does the team and the Protectors. Bionic Rage, Q-Arrow, Terror, and Nonagon remain earthbound. The Resistance are now standing in the dimensional realm of Blachole. Taltus faces Oranos on his own as the others deal with the Ophfiends and the Blacholian legion. The Swordman, Commander Norland, and Doctor Fortune are confronted by Dagard, a selfless mercenary and preacher of Blachole. Theus and The Beast battle Thrudhawk while Nano Man, Voltage, and Kular battle Domonix. With Thrudhawk, Domonix, Dagard, and the Ophfiends defeated, Oranos faces the full might of The Resistance. Hadi arrives, distracting Theus, leading to a battle between the two. Oranos nearly decimates the heroes before the sudden arrival of the Specter Errant, who battles Oranos till the end, giving The Resistance and Protectors the chance for victory. The Resistance and The Protectors defeat Oranos and his army After defeat, Oranos sends them out of Blachole, proclaiming they will meet again. Specter Errant tells the heroes the Mark of Helven is not originated by Oranos, due to having the mark sealed on his chest. Specter Errant confirms the Helvish mark was created by Negiter, the first Dark God, the older cousin of Oranos. Afterwards, the heroes each return to their own individual missions with Swordman primarily setting his focus on the workings of the Enforcement Order. Elsewhere, Kex Kendrick meets with Maveth, plotting a scheme to take out The Swordman and Taltus. A. B. and Gage Hark enter the room with A.B. proposing her team to face The Resistance first, in order to see how powerful her team truly is against a greater force. As they discuss plans, Death herself enters the room., stating she has greater plans in store for The Swordman.

The next chapter of this series will set focus toward Underworld, the following title of the Dark Titan Universe Saga series returning to the Scattered heroes of the Dark Titan Universe as they unite to combat a shadow organization and bearers of fear.
