History of the Dark Titan Universe Saga: Part 9: Underworld

Welcome to Part 9 of “History of the Dark Titan Universe Saga”. A series of articles based on the Dark Titan Universe Saga.

Giving new readers who don’t mind SPOILERS and those whom have already read something pertaining to the series a look at what’s happened from the start. Continuing the series with Underworld: Book 8 of the Dark Titan Universe Saga.

 
 

Underworld is focused on the scattered heroes within the Dark Titan Universe. Returning to the adventures of The Voltage, Bionic Rage, John Terror, Q-Arrow and more as they uncover a plot orchestrated by a shadow organization.

Underworld features seven stories:

  • The Astonishing Voltage: Frozen Fronts: The third of The Astonishing Voltage saga. Steve Walker looks back on his life after the events of Blachole against Oranos, wondering how he will fare against more powerful forces that are soon to come. Going on a run as Voltage, he senses a coldness streaking the L.A. streets, only to find out of a strange figure lurking through the city. Hanging out with Emily, Ava, and Gregg, Steve hears their talks of the heroes scattered throughout the world. Yet, with his focus on the sudden cause of the chillness, he wonders if he can keep the double-life stable. Frostface reveals himself to Los Angeles, bringing him into conflict with Voltage. The two fight one another before Frostface takes Voltage down with an ice blast, weakening him to the point of being in a frozen shock. Steve realizes his suit isn’t combat-able enough to face Frostface. Thereby, contacting Rax Thompson to help develop a suit capable of facing him. Meanwhile, Frostface is planning on covering all of southern California into a man-made blizzard in order to extend his power. The Voltage and Frostface battle it out in Hollywood Blvd. Once the battle is over, Frostface is taken to a secure prison where he is met by King Marc and other criminals who seek to take out the Voltage being orchestrated by a man simply called the Godfather. Elsewhere, Voltage stops a mugging, yet is taken aback after seeing the mugging caused by a group of ninjas with claws sketched on their uniforms.

  • Bionic Rage: Coursed Agenda: The third of the Bionic Rage saga. Dameon Mason begins protecting Detroit as Bionic Rage, seeking out the remnants of the Vargas underground. However, things change when a new threat is presented unto the city in the form of fear. The city is attacked and covered in a thick cloud. Rage intervenes, protecting as many civilians as he can. Along the way, he breathes in the smoke and begins reliving the events that transformed him into the being he is now. Dameon seeks aid as Brad and Claire arrive to help him, taking him back to his home. Deathcrow reveals himself to the city, seeking out Bionic Rage for a challenge. Rage hears the challenge and accepts. Before heading to the Horror House, he speaks with Brad and Claire concerning the alternatives. Bionic Rage takes the fight to Deathcrow’s Horror House where he clashes with several hallucinations from his past. Rage catches Deathcrow and takes him out, leaving him for the authorities. Afterwards, Nathan speaks with Dameon as he warns him of the government seeking his bionic tech as Deathcrow was only part of a much larger agenda across the world. Rage and Brad are ambushed by several hooded ninjas, leading Rage to track them down.

  • Terror: War Zone: The third of the John Terror saga. Terror discovers a set of Agency X soldiers ambushing a pack of teenagers, trying to toss them into one of their vans in an alley. Terror arrives in time to save them as he slaughters the soldiers. The teenagers flee while Terror leaves a message for Professor Mite to discover. Sometime after Terror leaves, Mite arrives at the alley with Vazquez and Destroyer. He sees the note and declares a war against Terror and those his allies with. Jade Horror returns to Chicago as she meets with Terror and Carl. Elsewhere, Jordan Dodson is investigating the past events around Agency X. While she searches, she is stalked by Agents 51 and 50. Carl uncovers the teenagers Terror had saved were put out by Scarface, one of the crime bosses in the city. Terror heads out to the nightclub owned by Scarface with Jade. The two take out the guards as they interrogate Scarface concerning his part with Agency X. While interrogating, the two are attacked by Vazquez and Destroyer, giving Scarface the open to escape. The fight is taken outside with Terror and Jade being jumped by the rest of Mite’s army. Mite arrives as Terror is beaten down and tells him the next day, the war begins. Carl arrives at the nightclub, finding Terror and Jade beaten. He takes them back to the base as they heal within an hour. Jordan arrives at the base, yet, they are attacked by the two Agents. Terror, Jade, Carl, and Jordan take the battle to Mite’s army in the streets of Chicago. Afterwards, Mite and his army escape, seeking to avid the eyes of the Yonderers. Once the fight was done, Terror returned to interrogate Scarface and learned of the true culprits, the Warriors of the Claw.

  • Q-Arrow: Minutes of Alter: The third of the Q-Arrow saga. The Las Vegas Strip is suddenly greeted by a man who claims to have come from the future and warns them of Q-Arrow’s true nature. Q-Arrow arrives and confronts Minuteman, only to be ambushed by his Timeguards. Shadow Hardy intervenes to assist Q-Arrow as Minuteman escapes. In the Arrowlair, Asher and Jeff talk with Jarvis and Arwin concerning Minuteman, his soldiers, and his tech. Jarvis informs Asher the Minuteman’s technology is not of the modern day, giving more sight that Minuteman is from the future. Arwin develops a new set of equipment for Asher to use against Minuteman. Q-Arrow and Shadow Hardy clash with Minuteman and his Timeguards on the Strip. Before Minuteman returns to his time, he tells Q-Arrow he was warned about him from the Warriors of the Claw.

  • Kular The Aqua-Barbarian: Seas of War: The third of The Aqua-Barbarian saga. The Kingdom of Atlantis prepares for war against the coming forces seeking to take the kingdom from Kular. Novah instructs Kular to rally his soldiers as the growing forces coming closer toward the kingdom. Kara insists she will aid Kular in the battles. Atlantis is attacked by the Manta Kingdom led by the Manta Master. Within the battle, the tide is turned as the Nano Man makes himself known in his Hydro Armor. Atlantis is attacked the following day by the unseen force only known as the Cuttlefish. The Cuttlefish, being an individual being takes out much of the Atlantean soldiers with the combined might of Kular, Kara, and Novah to defeat him. Sea Kaiser and his legion make their return to Atlantis and give Kular and his soldiers a battle they will remember.

  • Enforcement Order 66: A New Strategy: The third of the Enforcement Order saga. The Enforcement Order clash with the Exchange Force during their missions in Rabat. Gunbaine takes center stage as they overtake the Exchange Force and defeat them, only to be called by A.B. to make their escape as the Moroccan military arrives. Once the team had returned to Base 33, A.B. and Gage Hark are met by The Swordman, who warns them to shut down the team or The Resistance would take care of them.

  • Underworld: A Dark Titan Universe Event: The next event of the Dark Titan Universe. During the night in Chicago, Scarface meets with the Warriors of the Claw in his nightclub, until they’re attacked by the Devil-Knight who requests a battle with the Warriors’ leader. As the battle commences, Terror arrives and aids Devil-Knight against the Warriors and Scarface. Meeting for the first time, Terror seeks to know the purpose of the Warriors. Devil-Knight and Terror speak concerning the Warriors and their business in Chicago. Meanwhile, on the other side of the city in Lincoln Square, Kang-Zhu arrives as he searches for the Warriors, bringing him into a confrontation with a group called the Circus. Kang-Zhu fights them off as Jack Stone and Dante Hale arrive to aid him. While Devil-Knight and Terror talk, they are attacked by the Death Raptor. The following day, Kang-Zhu, Jack Stone, and Dante Hale walk throughout Uptown Chicago searching for clues to the Warriors. The trail leads them to meeting with Max Martin, a young T.I.T.A.N. agent who may have some leads to the Warriors. Elsewhere, Terror and Horror discuss the meeting with Devil-Knight and the fight against the Death Raptor. While they talked, Kane The Mercenary and Lynch The Hunter arrived in the city, leading to a fight between them, Terror, and Horror until the sudden arrival of The Voltage, Bionic Rage, and Q-Arrow. Static Morrison arrives, learning about Jack Stone and Dante Hale’s business in the city. The Voltage, Bionic Rage, and Q-Arrow talk with Terror and Horror concerning the mercenaries and the Warriors. Elsewhere, Kang-Zhu, Stone, and Hale confront Morrison before they’re attacked by Deadon the Commando. Gozen arrives in the city to discover the Warriors’ plan. She meets with Kang-Zhu, Stone, and Hale as they clash with several Warriors in the alleyways of Chicago. Voltage and Rage meet with Kang-Zhu, Stone, Hale, and Gozen as they are confronted by the Warriors. Elsewhere, Devil-Knight comes out during the night and meets with Terror and Q-Arrow as they seek to find the Warriors’ base in New City. The Warriors’ purpose of the being in Chicago is revealed that their leader is working with a man called the Jester, who seeks to bring the Devil-Knight into the light. Meanwhile, the heroes are ambushed by the Circus and Sinister Fear. Looking for a way into the Warriors’ lair within the Loop, Devil-Knight, Terror, and Q-Arrow regroup with Voltage and Bionic Rage. Atom-Zero speaks with Max Martin, giving him the details into the Warriors’ lair. Max takes the details and gives them to The Voltage who hands them to Terror and Devil-Knight after their slight clash with the Warriors. Sinister Fear conjures the Sin Phantom to attack the heroes. Seeing as they are unfamiliar with supernatural conflicts. Devil-Knight leads the heroes toward the Warriors’ lair. Devil-Knight and the heroes clash with the Jester, the Circus, Sinister Fear, the Death Raptor, and the Sin Phantom. Throughout the fight, the Death Chaser arrives and rids the battle of the Death Raptor and the Sin Phantom. The Specter Errant arrives as he helps the heroes defeat the Jester and the Warriors. Leading to a sudden appearance from the Warriors’ true leader amidst a warning. After the battle, the heroes return to their base of operations as the Devil-Knight returns to the shadows, saying he will only appear when necessary.

The next chapter of this series will set focus toward Magicks & Mysticism, the following title of the Dark Titan Universe Saga series returning to the Numinous allies and enemies of the Dark Titan Universe as they come together in a battle against a powerful supernatural force.
